24 participants and over 30 alumni from previous editions of the Legia Sport Business Programme gathered on Sunday, October 27, at The Box in Legia Stadium to inaugurate the fourth edition of our unique program.
The attendees were welcomed by Tomasz Zahorski, the leader and creator of the project, as well as the CEO of Legia Training Center, which runs the LSBP. Zahorski shared insights on the program’s objectives and offered advice on how to optimize one’s path to a career in sports management.
The European Club Association, a key meritorical partner for the LSBP, was represented by Jeremy Cottino (Membership Project Leader), who focused on the strategic aspects of management in leading clubs across the continent. Jarosław Jurczak, Vice President of Legia Warsaw, illustrated the application of best practices within the club.
Jacek Pawlak, President of Toyota Central Europe, discussed decision-making as a leader in a market-dominating organization and the importance of sports sponsorship in brand-building. Meanwhile, Michał Kanarkiewicz, in his dynamic presentation, highlighted the importance of thinking several steps ahead for success in business and sports, using chess as the ultimate training ground.
Participants will learn more about managing large-scale and stadium-wide events in the next session, which will be held on November 23 at Legia Training Center.
