Kick off of the 5th edition

Kick off of the 5th edition

On Sunday, October 26, at the stadium on Łazienkowska Street – just before the prestigious match between Legia Warszawa and Lech Poznań – the fifth edition of the Legia Sport Business Programme was officially inaugurated.

It was a day full of energy, meetings, and inspiring conversations. For the first time in a lecture-based format, we welcomed the participants of the latest edition of the programme, embarking together on an eight-month journey through the world of sport, business, and management.

The first workshop was led by Katarzyna Haczewska, who ensured the group’s integration and created an atmosphere of collaboration among the participants.

During the main lecture session, the speakers included:

  • Fredi Bobić, Head of Football Operations at Legia Warszawa, who discussed strategies for building a team capable of competing on multiple fronts,

  • Wojciech Rokicki, CEO of Legia Training Center, who presented a comprehensive approach to developing and managing modern sports infrastructure,

  • Jeremy Cottino from European Football Clubs, who shared his insights on fan engagement – from reaching the youngest supporters to avoiding common communication pitfalls in fan relations.

The day concluded with a joint viewing of the Legia Warszawa vs. Lech Poznań match in The Box – an opportunity for discussions, networking, and exchanging experiences in the unique atmosphere of the stadium.

We would like to thank all participants for their trust and commitment, as well as the Legia Sport Business Programme team – Katarzyna Haczewska, Marcin Sobczyk, Wojciech Rokicki, Marek Benedykciński, and Jakub Myszkorowski – for ensuring that every detail of the inauguration was perfectly executed.

The next session is scheduled for November 15 at the Legia Training Center, and will focus on strategic matchday management.
